Privacy-first AI
for real-world surveillance.

Trust Cloak detects and blurs faces, license plates and name tags in real time — right on the camera — while the original stays encrypted and every unlock is logged.

Trust Cloak protecting a street scene An abstract street with a parked car and two people. The faces, the car’s license plate and a name tag are covered by the selected redaction style, while the rest of the scene stays clear.
The original stays encrypted underneath. Only authorized roles can unlock it — and every unlock is logged.

Video stays useful.
People stay private.

Organizations need video for safety and operations, but they capture far more personal data than they need. Trust Cloak protects that data at the point of capture, keeps the original safe, and keeps a record of who looked.

Three things it does, all at once.

Protect in real time

Detection and blurring run on the edge — on devices like NVIDIA Jetson, Qualcomm and ARM-based chips, or inside camera firmware. Video is protected before it ever leaves the camera, not in a back office afterwards.

Redaction is configurable: full blur, mask overlay or pixelation.

Keep the original safe

Redaction is reversible, not destructive. The original footage is kept encrypted with AES-256. Authorized roles can unlock it for a legitimate reason — nothing is permanently deleted.

Log every unlock

Each time someone opens the original, Trust Cloak writes a chain-of-custody record of who accessed it and when. Oversight doesn’t depend on anyone remembering to take notes.

API-ready for camera interfaces and video management systems.

Built for the people who hold the footage.

Smart cities

Share crowd and traffic video quickly across departments while protecting the pedestrians in it.

Law enforcement

Bodycam and dashcam footage redacted automatically: faster FOIA release, bystanders protected, evidence intact.

Retail & venues

Run safety and analytics on the floor without exposing the identities of the people shopping.

Transit

Cover terminals and stations, and keep the people passing through them private.

Also built for camera and video management system makers who want privacy built into their products.

How it works

  1. The camera captures

A bodycam, dashcam, fixed camera or edge device records as usual.

  2. Trust Cloak blurs on the device

Faces, plates, name tags and other personal details are found and covered in real time, on the device itself.

  3. The protected feed is shared

Teams, partners and the public get video that’s safe to use. The original stays encrypted.

  4. Authorized unlock, with a log

When there’s a legitimate reason, an authorized role unlocks the original — and the record shows who did, and when.

Compliance, by default.

Regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA and NDAA raise the cost of handling personal data carelessly, and manual redaction takes hours to weeks per request. When footage is protected the moment it’s captured, compliance stops being a project and becomes a feature of the system.
